• dopted Mazda Foundation Project Grant Research “Akaiwa City Earth Science”
• Organized jointly the 2017 Summer Geological Field Trip by jGnet and Chukyoken Akaiwa/Kaga Branch Science Section.
• Held a ceremony to hand over the old Bisaku High School Site and building at Akaban City Hall on September 29.
• Established Institute of GeoHistory in Susai, Akaiwa on October 14 (Susai Research Institute was abolishsed).
• Held Institute of GeoHistory Foundation Opening Festival in Yoshii on October 14 and in Okayama on October 15.
• Education support activities (business trip classes at Akaiwa City Jonan Elementary School and Koyo Junior High School).
